I am a huge Indiana Jones fan, so obviously I was excited when I heard about this movie. However, I felt that Spielberg went away from the original Indiana and made this one much different. I didnt hate this movie, it was defintly entertaining, but I like the old ones better.

The new Jones is a good movie to sit though, just dont expect to be blown away. I thought they stuck true to form for the most part in this movie until the end when it got all crazy.
It kept my interest but i dont think its the best indiana jones movie. What was with all the CGI monkeys too? They could have left that one out

Ok I will admit that this is first Indiana Jones movie I have seen. Despite it being the first time, I have a picture of what Indian Jones would be. I pictured a thriller action, which the film had. I imaged Indiana Jones flying through the air with his theme song playing, which did not happened a few times in the movie. But what I did not picture was the ending. Definitely not a classic Indian Jones movie. I guess I can say if you have seen the other ones you are obligated to go but from what I have seen...IT'S NOT CLASSIC INDY! :(

Was it the same Indiana we once knew? No, how could it be? Was it laughable at times? Yes. But, was it entertaining? Absolutely!
Spielberg created a different type of film this time around. It was outrageous in every way and was not above making fun of itself. I recommend thinking less and watching more, and you won't walk away disappointed.

Although it isn't the Indiana Jones movies that I grew up watching, the combination of Shia Labeouf and Harrison Ford make it something very much worth the trip to the theater. It is very thrilling to see a new film for a Trilogy we already love so much.

This movie takes unrealism to a completely different level. Indiana Jones and his trusty whip, which is hardly used in this new movie, always seem to find themselves in tight situations which they barely squeak out of in the classic Indiana Jones movies. In The Crystal Skull these great stories and close calls are put on the back burner to aliens and overkill with special effects. This new movie should have been made under a different name so as to not tarnish Indiana Jones' God-like reputation. Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull is not worth seeing in the theater. You would be better off renting the original Indiana Jones movies and enjoying their true thrill.

Having seen all the Indiana Jones moves, I was excited that they were adding another one to the series. Shia Labeouf and Harrison Ford performed well, demonstrating that Ford aka Indiana Jones can never be too old for those extravagant journeys.

Critics have been skeptical about Harrison Ford taking on Indy for a fourth time. “The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” however, ignites and excites, showing us that Dr. Jones is never too old for another adventure. Campy, humorous, action-packed and lots of swashbuckling, “Indiana Jones” is a perfect summer movie for just about anyone! Viva Shia!
