All great neighborhoods have rich histories, and the Arena District is no exception.
Since Columbus' earliest days, the area in and around what is now known as the Arena District has been a center of activity. These city blocks have witnessed waves of energy, from railroad workers and prisoners to farmers and early Irish settlers.
And after recent decades of sitting dormant, the area has again experienced a rebirth and a new wave of energy. The Arena District features the region's most popular sports, dining and entertainment venues, premier office space and is now home to hundreds of residents.
